Come join us for a presentation by Cassie Mendoza, Central Area Bear Biologist, where she will provide guidance on how to peacefully coexist with our state's black bear population.
The goal is raise general awareness about these beautiful creatures and how we can ensure their safety and ours. We'll also provide tips and tricks for successfully feeding birds in bear prone areas.

Spoiler alert: the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive is an excellent place to observe kites gathering at the end of summer as they prepare to head back home after breeding.
